BIOGRAPHY
Los Pistoleros Güeros, founded in 2009, are based in Bamberg, Germany. Having become famous on an international scale, they mix Mexican Cumbia styles with traditional Bavarian Polka.
When Puerto Rican percussionist Tomás Pérez from Würzburg Music University met the band around brothers Juan de La Boca and Mauricio Gonzalez in 2015, he produced their first album. Since then, their 10-man colectivo has recorded three studio albums and toured clubs and festivals around the world.
Strongly influenced by artists such as Celso Piña, Chico Trujillo, Valentín Elizalde or Los Angeles Azules, LPG show their passion for styles such as Banda Sinaloense, Norteño or Cumbia in their compositions.
The group has been invited to several international festivals and has appeared on international media such as Univision (USA), La Jornada, Canal Once (Mexico) or Deutsche Welle (Germany). In 2022, they were part of the "Neustart Kultur" program by the German Government.
Their new record, La Onda Espacial, and three newly released music videos are available since April 2023.
